Physical and Mental Health Awareness

Annually LAC provides donations and supports informational drives to the Cancer Society, MS-Walks, and March of Dimes. We also address the health and fitness needs of our members and the community.  We organize healthy activities within the community that emphasize awareness of diseases that impact people of African descent.

The Physical & Mental Health Committee of the Lancaster (CA) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is excited to host our public breast cancer awareness event pre-event, “Fit for the Cure!”

Join us on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dillard’s in the Antelope Valley Mall. Feel free to stop by anytime between the designated hours.

Enjoy a complimentary professional bra fitting and learn helpful tips about proper fit, comfort, essential styles, and common fitting myths. This empowering event is sponsored by the Dillard’s Lingerie Department and is open to the public and all ages.

Come out, bring a friend, and support breast cancer awareness while investing in your confidence and wellness. Raffles and refreshments will be available throughout the day!​​​​
