Adopt a highway:

This is a program created by Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Program that provides an avenue for individuals, organizations, or businesses to help maintain sections of roadside within California's State Highway System. This program helps alleviate problematic trash along the highway and improves the safety of the vehicles.

LCAC has adopted a four (4) mile stretch of north and southbound Highway 14 that leads into the Antelope Valley. Bi-monthly our members along with community volunteers meet to maintain the section of the road that our chapter has adobted.
