I Can Fly Foundation International

The International Awareness & Involvement Committee has recently partnered with I Can Fly International in Makakoi Village in the Machakos District of Kenya. I Can Fly High School (ICFHS), the first of its kind in the area, is a year-round secondary boarding school that educates youth in eleven subjects. In addition to collecting books and personal supplies for the students at ICFHS, IAIC is also sponsoring the education of one of its female students for the 2014 - 1015 school term. IAIC seeks to help remove the financial barriers that often prevent women and girls from fulfilling their educational dreams and career aspirations. The International Awareness & Involvement Committee hosts global awareness events throughout the year to further educate ourselves, and our community on the plight of women internationally. Our projects and services help children who are affected by early marriages, female genital mutilation, child labor, abandonment and children orphaned by HIV/AIDS epidemic.
